Lofte Auditions for "9 to 5" are May 22 and 23 at 7:00 pm

Auditions at the Lofte are open to all who might want to come and be in a show!

Whether you're new to the stage or an experienced performer, the Lofte Community Theatre welcomes everyone to audition for our productions!

RSVP or scheduling a time slot is not required. Please come a few minutes early to auditions with possible rehearsal and performance conflicts and be prepared to read lines. Since 9 to 5 is our musical this year, please bring a prepared song, with sheet music accompaniment, no more than one minute in length and attire for dancing. Piano accompanist is provided.

A typical musical audition consists of singing something you've prepared ahead of time or sang before, reading from the script of the show, and a short movement audition as well with choreography to get an idea of how you learn and move around the stage.

Please note: Age suggestions in the script will not be the deciding factor in casting. If you know the movie and don't think yourself the right "type" don't count yourself out! Actors of all abilities, races, gender identities, sexual orientation and experiences are encouraged to audition.

We hope to see lots of folks come out for 9 to 5!
