How to Step Up and Make a Positive Change in Your Community

Thriving communities are built on mutual respect, a willingness to support one another, and a strong commitment to the neighborhood. In short, it’s the people that make a community great. You don’t have to be a community leader to make a difference in your neighborhood. In this article, the Village of Cedar Creek, Nebraska explores some great ways to take action and benefit the people around you!

Launch Your Own Nonprofit

If you have some time on your hands and you like the idea of running a business, consider starting a nonprofit to support a local cause that you feel passionate about.

Consider local nonprofit ideas like running a community garden, saving animals, or launching a senior care program.

Be a Good Neighbor

We strive to have the Food Bank open on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month, however holidays might change those dates.
Updates can be found here >>

Please come and pick up what you need for your household or a friend’s.
We have canned goods, boxed meals, breakfast items, frozen meats, bread, eggs, baking ingredients, cleaning supplies, personal care items, diapers and wipes.
